YouTube has all kinds of influencers, content creators and channels for photography. I cannot know what you may seek to find but I can share with you my go-to channels.

My overall favorite is Tatiana Hopper. She focuses on the best photographs and their photographers. Her knowledge shines through analyses of photographs and the photographers who took them. Ted Forbes (The Art of Photography) is the most knowledgeable person I’ve found for art photography. I believe he was a curator at an art gallery once. He highlights various books and zines that people send him. https://www.youtube.com/@theartofphotography

Hugh Brownstone (Three Blind Men and an Elephant) makes phenomenal videos. He focuses more on reviews than anything else, but his photographs back up his critiques of the equipment he and his wife shoot. Too many YouTubers have equipment reviews but can’t sell me a camera. Emily from Micro Four Nerds attracted me to her channel before I ever considered MFT cameras. I can’t recommend cameras or camera formats to anyone because they really don’t matter to me. John Kasko (The F/Stops Here) is a portrait photographer who does mostly lighting reviews and also sells products he makes. He’s very good at what he does. https://www.youtube.com/@kaskophoto

These last two are not photography channels but know the insides and out of cinematography and present it so in their videos. They are the Neistat brothers Casey and Van. Casey’s videos are the best on YouTube IMHO. He presents the perfect construction of a story for every video. Then he shoots the scenes (most of them himself) with the construct of an Academy Award movie. Then they are presented, edited well and not too long. Casey’s brother Van doesn’t make videos the same way, but does present with a well-constructed story format.
